I have called this the Housewife Sewing Case and I got the inspiration for it from an old an old khaki sewing roll I found in my dads’ belongings. The time was when men were in the forces, especially the Navy, they had sewing role called a hussif (or housewife), to repair their clothes. So this one is dedicated to all those men who had to mend and sew when they were away from home.
