This is such a lovely patchwork quilt to make for the enthusiastic embroiderer. It 16 embroidered blocks all featuring a heart with a whimsical motif theme: bunnies, doves, houses, holly leaves, scissors, and russian dolls to name but a few. It is stitched with a red thread but looks equally beautiful in other colours. The embroidery stitches are quite basic, the main one being backstitch. The 16 blocks are embroidered individually and joined together later so it’s an ‘on the go’ project and can be stitched anywhere.
