Monday's Child Quilt Pattern
My inspiration for this lovely Redwork quilt were the drawings in an old children’s book called Good and Gay I found in a charity shop. A picture book of prayer and praise for boys and girls by Mary Osbourne. I fell in love with all the pictures especially the one on the front cover. The quilt is made up of seven blocks all of which contain a piece of redwork. The blocks join together to form a quilt measuring approximately 48 x 54ins
The pattern contains iron on transfers Redwork blocks and you are also given all the instructions on how to make the quilt including a choice between the wavy border or a plain border. What's more the iron on transfers are re-useable so you can make more than one quilt or complimentary accessories like cushions.
